Each year the CHHS Theatre Booster Club relies on volunteers to serve as organization leaders, coordinators for various programs and to assist with productions and performances.  Whatever your talents or interests, there is a way for you to come out and volunteer with us.

It takes a lot of hands to help produce shows and oversee services at performances.  But with more hands, the easier the lift can be.  Consider donating your time and efforts to support these important initiaitives...

Starving Artist Program

Help feed our hungry theatre kids!

The Booster Club provides meals to the actors, technical artists and staff on dress rehearsal and performance days. Volunteers are needed to help serve food.

VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP ROLES

Every good project needs a leader. The CHHS Theatre Booster Club is successful because each year volunteers serve in leadership roles and help direct our various projects and initiatives.  Below are listed the various volunteer leadership roles.  If there is one that interests you, please let us know!

Banquet Chair

The Banquet Chairperson is responsible for designing and producing the end of year banquet in May. Responsible for planning all aspects of banquet function held at the Colleyville Community Center in 2019, including but not limited, menus, ticket pricing, favors, decorations and other expenses of the banquet held in conjunction with Annual Awards presentations.

Historian

 

The historian keeps a record on the Theatre department’s activities for the year. The position might create a “digital scrapbook” to promote the theatre department, and its activities and achievements. Another great job for the historian is to help officers and committee chairs assemble a record of important information that will help successors, i.e. key contacts, dos and don'ts, cost information, etc.

 

Playbill Program Coordinator

The Playbill coordinator is responsible for designing and producing the Playbill program for each performance.

Publicity Coordinator

The Publicity Coordinator is responsible for promoting a positive image of the booster club and theatre program to campus and the local community by creating materials and cultivating media relations. Works with the Publicity Committee to develop and distribute press releases, create social media campaigns, and promote booster club membership.

State Festival Coordinator

The State Festival Coordinator works closely with Theatre Arts directors in the planning and logistics coordination for students and production at the annual Texas State Thespians Festival.

Ticketing Coordinator

The Ticketing Coordinator oversees all aspects of ticketing operations and manages ticket office volunteers for each performance.

T-Shirt Coordinator

The T-shirt Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the design and production of the performance apparel and booster apparel.
